Eliza grew up in country Victoria, before moving to Melbourne to study. Eliza graduated from La Trobe University, Melbourne, in 2002 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. She commenced her career working at a large health service in Melbourne in various inpatient and outpatient settings, including rehabilitation and aged care.
