Home and Beyond Occupational Therapy provides occupational therapy services for older Australians receiving Support at Home funding. I am an occupational therapist with more than 20 years of clinical experience supporting adults to maximise their independence, safety and quality of life. I work closely with clients, families and care managers to develop practical recommendations that support people to remain living safely and independently in their own homes.
Services can be provided for participants requiring assessment and recommendations relating to:
- Assistive technology and equipment
- Minor and complex home modifications
- Home safety and falls prevention
- Maximising independence and participation in daily activities
Reports and supporting documentation can be provided where required to support funding decisions and service planning.
Referrals are welcomed from Support at Home providers, care managers, GPs, allied health professionals, clients and family members.
Mobile services are available across the Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay, North Brisbane and Gympie regions.
